Professional Info

As a Web Project Manager & Content Strategist at the University of Michigan Library, I lead efforts around the library website, as well as projects for other platforms and applications within the web presence. I work to consistently bring a content strategy lens across projects and advocate for thoughtful, well written content. In my previous role as User Experience Specialist, I contributed to all areas of user experience with a focus on content and information architecture. My library career has included a wide variety of duties from reference, instruction and circulation to systems, web services and technology oversight. I love being able to apply my past experience to projects and collaborations at U-M and thrive on working with colleagues from across the organization.

Being part of an academic community is a great privelege and I enjoy participating in service opportunities at my library and university, as well as providing informal mentoring to new professionals intrested in user experience and libraries. I am actively engaged in professional service for the Assocation of College & Research Libraries and previously held leadership roles in Vermont Library Association and the American Library Association’s New Member Round Table.

Sometimes I write and talk. I am fairly active speaker and enjoy giving webinars, presenting alone, and being part of group panels and workshops.
